The Department regulates the approval of pharmacies to supply pharmaceutical benefits, and their location, to ensure an accessible and commercially viable network of pharmacies exists throughout Australia, including in rural and remote areas.

Pharmacies in Australia wishing to supply, and claim Government reimbursement for, pharmaceutical benefits.
